Special Announcement – 31,000 Pound Donation

Hello team!

As you all know, these first weeks of the 2017 Miles That Matter program have been a huge success in working toward our overarching goal of making a difference in the community by being able to donate a pound of protein for every mile a Team member and/or their family logs through the program. Although we had originally capped this donation at 50,000 pounds we feel that the overwhelming support and participation within these first few weeks should not go unrewarded. With that being said, Tyson Foods has pledged to match the recent mile count of 31,000 miles by Miles That Matter participants by donating 31,000 pounds of protein to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank June 8. We would love for MTM participants to be on site at the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank at the time of the donation in their Miles That Matter jersey. Please email if you are interested in attending.

The Miles That Matter program will continue the current session throughout the summer as planned but the mile count will be reset to zero the day of the donation. These miles logged after the June 8 donation will count toward yet another donation as the program is still ongoing. Miles That Matter participants will continue logging their miles in the same fashion currently in place. These miles logged after the June 8 donation will count toward yet another donation as the program is still ongoing. We would love for MTM participants to be on site at the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank at the time of the donation in their Miles That Matter jersey. Please email if you are interested in attending.

Individuals can receive their contribution in the donation by being viewing how many miles were logged in the attached documents. We thank you for choosing to make a difference in the community.

See you on the trails,
